Sucked in yet again.

Every time I go to the Tattered Cover, I get sucked into yet another book. I must have turned a corner in my life, I never use to want to read and now I can't find enough to read. It is slowly becoming an intense passion. I enjoy finishing a book and then discussing it with someone who has already read it or wants to read it. I guess it is the same for those movie buffs around the world.

This one is another book that is out of my normal leisure reading. I guess that helps me to continue down my path of challenging myself to live outside my comfort zone. As I waited to meet a friend for coffee, I picked up Unhooked: How Young Women Pursue Sex, Delay Love and Lose at Both, by Laura Sessions Stepp. When I first saw the book, I thought that is a catchy title and I decent cover, so I picked it up. Starting thumbing through, next thing I know I have been reading for an hour and my friend shows up. I didn't even realize that I had been reading for an hour. Not to mention that my coffee was in deed cold, because I hadn't completely forgotten about it.

I didn't buy the book at the Tattered Cover, because they are always so over priced. I instead, came home and ordered it on half.com. I actually got 2 books with shipping for cheaper than buying the book at the store. Go me!

The book should be here by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I might head back to the book store on Sunday to continue reading it before I actually get it in the mail. Crazy!
