Dark Harbor

Just finished reading Dark Harbor by Stuart Woods. I am knocking these books out left and right lately. :) This was a great leisure read. Woods did a fantastic job building the plot and the non-regular characters. The climax was on the second to last page of a 376 page book. I love it when they hold my attention until the last possible moment. There were numerous times throughout the book, that I started to think that I was putting the pieces together correctly, but oh so wrong I was. This book really made a drastic turn, yet looking back I don't see how I missed so many signals.

This book has a lot to offer, from murder mystery to passionate romance. My grandfather "turd" use to say that the character, "Stone Barrington, got more ass than a toliet seat." This book holds true, Stone really does get more ass than a toliet seat.

Highly recommend this book, however, if you have never read any of Stuart Woods' books I wouldn't start with this one. They aren't really chronologically ordered, yet the character development in some of the early books is really imperative.
