Bucket List

I was talking to a friend about how people that live in a city, yet don't really take advantage of the things that city has to offer. They get stuck in a normal everyday routine. It is hard not to be in the daily routine. He asked if I was talking about a bucket list. I kind of looked at him as if he was crazy, but then he explained you make a list of all the things you want to do before you kick the bucket. So I have started to make a bucket list.

Since moving west, I have tried to live like a tourist. I want to do all the things that people do when they come to Denver on vacation, but I want to do them on a regular basis. I have been pretty successful this year, I have had a total of 23 days on the slopes. I have been to a men's lacrosse game, a few Nuggets game, a Colorado Rapids game, I have been hiking in rocky mountain national forest, and have been to the zoo. The positive is I feel as if I am just getting started.

I have so many more things to do and places to visit. Some of them are the planetarium, museum of nature and science, fine art museum, mile high music festival, rockies game, broncos game...the list goes on and on. I am slowly getting to all of them, and have really enjoyed the journey. I'll keep you posted as I begin to check things off my bucket list!

Have a great day, take advantage of today. Start your bucket list, you never know when it might be too late!
