Week Re-cap.

I feel like I haven't written in forever! My apologizes, but I do have a good excuse...I haven't had any time, and I have people to attest to it! I just recently sent my parents back to Florida and they are probably in need of a vacation from their vacation. While they were here, we were literally busier than one arm paper hangers. They toured the Coors Brewery, took in an Outlaw Lacrosse game, went to Water World, played 3 rounds of golf, ran a 5k, spent a day playing in Boulder, had a few wii tournaments, and took in an outdoor concert. All in all I think they had an great but exhausting time. It was fantastic to be able to play with the fam. It seems that is all we did.

I must admit I am pretty lucky. To have parents as amazing as mine is pretty cool. When I came back to work, a few of my friends asked when my parents were coming back. They all loved them. It was great to hear my friends call them mom and dad. I felt like I was back in high school when my house was the true party house. I am sure that since the move to Colorado my mother has been uneasy about me being so far away without the ability to jump in the car and come visit. However, after this trip I think both feel that I am in the right place surrounded by fantastic people.

I didn't think I would, but I miss them already. Too bad Tumbles and Wonka weren't here to partake in the fun.
