to plan or not to plan?

Had a conversation or many conversations with SJ this weekend about planning or not planning. I wouldn't describe myself as an overly impulsive person, however, I will admit that I do enjoy living life while flying by the seat of my pants. Yes, there is a difference in overly impulsive and flying by the seat of your pants.

I like the no-plan life style, the life style that if something sounds like a good idea than go ahead count me in, if it doesn't intrigue me than I might have plans to rearrange my socks. I feel that planning involves time and stress. Everything always works out in the end, whether the result is what you wanted or not! Planning or not planning, a result is a result!

Well the no planning life-style finally caught up to me. I drove into the mountains today to join two very important people in my life, on the slopes. I got all dressed, put on my boots, carried my skies to the base, only to find out that the slopes closed at four. HAHAHA. I looked at the sign and started laughing. Most people would be upset about that, me on the other hand took the misfortune as a blessing. Remember, I have decided to embrace the no reaction lifestyle. It gave me a chance to come back to the condo and whip up a little shrimp scampi and my famous dipping sauce. I got to sit back and enjoy my favorite people and really love life. I sat on the balcony watched the snow fall, enjoyed the fresh air, and be by the fire to warm up. I got to sit back and enjoy being happy, being loved, and being surrounded by a great family and fabulous friends. At the end of the day, I can look back and be thankful that the slopes were closed! Everything happens for a reason, the slopes were closed...ya never know, if they were open, I might have fallen and broken a leg or something. Anything is possible. :)

Make it a great one :).
