Thru these eyes
These eyes have seen first hand the tragedy of 9/11 and the many lives that have been changed forever by it. I have seen cancer take a dear friend and watched so many total strangers have there lives turned upside down by horrific car accidents or a fire that may take all one has.
I am a firefighter who see’s life a lot differently than most. For this is the reason I live, love and cherish my everyday. Because today is my gift and tomorrow is my dream. In a minute without warning anyone’s life can change forever but so many don’t see that. It is heart wrenching to see the misfortunes of so many good and innocent people. God has blessed me with the ability to help them all and help lead me to see how truly special today is.
The real secret to life is to see this day as the gift it is and be certain you give it all you got. The difference will come when you start seeing how fortunate you really are.
So you can make your days as fabulous, marvelous or fantastic as you chose but today for me
Go outside, take a deep breath and look around because you just received the greatest gift of all, Another day :)
