Jumping to Conclusions.

Can anything positive ever come from jumping to conclusions? Someone should do some research on that topic. Maybe I'll go back to school and have that as dissertation.

Within the past year, I have had a new approach to life...the no reaction is the best reaction. I really believe that it is one of the better changes in my life. I enjoy being completely in charge of my reactions and only allowing them to be displayed after the fact...usually much after the fact. This new approach, allows me to think things through and usually provides me with the upper hand in most situations. No reaction has given me the chance to increase how closely I hold my cards to my chest. Which, I really believe has been a blessing. I know that relationships like feelings are NOT a game, yet it is a hell of a lot easier to see the big picture from all angles without reacting at least initially. No reaction has allowed me to see more angles or at least see them clearer and more quickly.

I agree that the approach of "no reaction is the best reaction" isn't for everyone. If it works for you...that is fabulous, if not just remember not to play games. Games don't help anyone or anything. Be as honest and open as humanly possible.
